Dadasaheb Phalke (Full name-Ghundiraj Dada Saheb Govind Rao Phalke), who is called the 'father of Hindi film industry',would have never thought that one day it will come that in this industry where talent will be forced to knee in the face of nepotism. In today's scenario, nepotism in the film industry has increased tremendously, which is taking it towards the wrong direction. Its winning example is the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on 14th June 2020.

The purpose of the films made a long time ago was not only to make money, but their main objective was to get such scenes happening in the society that could have a profound effect on our society, they had to come on screen. How to give a better message to the society, these filmmakers used to think. At present, some films fall under this category as an exception, through which society can learn a lot.

Now let us try to understand nepotism.Whenever an actor steps into the film industry it is not possible to find a role immediately. For this they have to struggle a lot. Even the lives of many people seem to be at stake and many feel hopeless. If they keep contact with family members related to film industry or is close to it, then they gets work easily. In this time, nepotism is at its peak. If someone have no no any godfather in this film industry then he/she can't get job easily. On the other hand, if someone has gone from a small town in this industry, and no one is his /her available here for their help, even if he/she is moving forward with full hard work and dedication, people still start suppressing them. Because they feel that if the fresher goes ahead then what will happen to us? Then a highly reputed with shop of nepotism may be closed.

Talent is valued everywhere, and it should be. Due to talent and hard work, a person can become successful if he puts his best efforts and dedication to make its happen. There are some stars in the film industry where people without godfather, yet due to their honor, they have named themselves in the leading category, some of whom are Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ashutosh Rana, Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Prakash Jha. Along with their hard work, their fate also cannot be denied. Because hard work changes human's entire life by supporting fate.

Film actor Manoj Bajpai ji said in an interview-"This film industry is like a bullion market, where the jeweler make their children sit on the same sit, whether they are able to do this work or not. Due to hard works, some are able to manage the business, and some get the entire capital drowned.''This example fits the film industry perfectly.

One such star aspiring to settle on the moon, in spite of all the merits, had to fall to this nepotism, which is no longer in between and has been away from us forever. This matter is not limited to Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his move towards success by doing 11 films at the age of just 34, without star's kids. Even before this many such incidents have happened. Those who enter the film industry from a normal family do not have any godfather. They move forward due to their hard work, and consider the audience as the godfather. The fans of this actor can be judged from the fact that even due to in-spite rains as well as the order of having a maximum of  50 people  to attend the cremation, a large number of people gathered for that source that huge loves that fans. Many film stars like Ranvir Shorey, Vivek Oberoi, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut reacted but what is the use now? Till this is implemented, nothing will happen with just the response.

An actor from Motihari (Bihar), who likewise thought of making his career in the Hindi film industry, had to fall in the situation of nepotism because he had no godfather, as he had no one in the film industry. He looked for work in Bollywood, but everywhere he felt disappointed. After a while, he turned to Hollywood film industry and worked with a lot of passion and perseverance and was successful there. Would you like to know the name of that actor? His name is - Mr. Prabhakar Sharan.

Famous actors like Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin Siddiqui get the 'Best Actor Award' in Australia,  but they are not valued in the Indian film industry for which they really deserve. Two-time National award winner Manoj Bajpai even said in an interview - "I got this award because there was no any Indian member in this jury." It is definitely a shame for our film industry.

At last, I would like to say that cinema is a mirror of our society. The talent of the people working in it must be truly appreciated, not of nepotism, only then the Indian film industry will be able to establish its own identity as a great film industry. If we have to raise our voice against nepotism, then together we should remove the growing tree of this illusion from its roots. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the way people have raised the voice against nepotism on social media presently, it is truly delightful.
