Today's Education System

"Vidya Dadati Vinayam" means education provides us with humility. An educated person can make a difference between good and bad at any time according to his/her discretion and knowledge. Education is the fundamental right of all of us. There is a system of free education in many countries as well as in our country. But it is a matter of affliction that except for a few places, their parents have to loose their pockets to teach children in all the places.

It is told about 'knowledge' that it is such a wealth, the more it is distributed, the more it will grow. Governments spend crores of rupees annually to share knowledge, but the reality is that most of the teachers teaching in government schools prefer to teach their children in private schools rather than those not taught by those government schools. In this situation how can we say that the money spent on education by governments is used correctly?

If you look at the building of a government school (some schools may not fall in this category), then you will find that many of those buildings are quite dilapidated. Water drips from the roof of the building. Cleanliness is also negligible. Needless to say, but if you look at the house of most teachers, you will find that they are brighter than the school and the maintenance of the goods there is also quite right and well organized. Then why is the condition of the school like this?

Many purposes like adult education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan have been done by the governments from time to time. Once upon a time there was a line to study in government schools and in today's scenario the same situation is for admission in government colleges. Until a few years ago there were few private schools and colleges. But today's, according to the increasing population, their number has become quite a task. People teach their children in private schools, but when further education has to be taken, that is, when it comes time to get professional education, in that situation people have the desire to get admission in government colleges. If I talk about our country India, then IIT, IIM, Govt. engineering colleges, Govt. Institutes such as medical colleges are prominent.

When people do not get admission in their desired colleges and their year starts getting wasted, in that situation, the rich people with money donate their children and get admission in private colleges.

Private schools and colleges have to pay a lot of money. Every time, most of the middle class families who teach their children in these schools and colleges fall victim to financial crisis. They have A. C. from their busses to the classroom. No matter how good their infrastructure is, but if their teachers and professors are talked about here, on average they get less money than those studying in government schools and colleges.

In addition to the work of teaching the teachers of government schools, sometimes they have to go for census and sometimes for animal census, sometimes they have the burden of making an election. At the same time, if we look at the teachers of private schools, they do not have to do any such work. The government must implement this subject. Realizing the importance of education, government schools should be improved.
