"Vidya Dadati Vinayam" means education provides us with humility. An educated person can make a difference between good and bad at any time according to his/her discretion and knowledge. Education is the fundamental right of all of us. There is a system of free education in many countries as well as in our country. But it is a matter of affliction that except for a few places, their parents have to loose their pockets to teach children in all the places.

It is told about 'knowledge' that it is such a wealth, the more it is distributed, the more it will grow. Governments spend crores of rupees annually to share knowledge, but the reality is that most of the teachers teaching in government schools prefer to teach their children in private schools rather than those not taught by those government schools. In this situation how can we say that the money spent on education by governments is used correctly?

If you look at the building of a government school (some schools may not fall in this category), then you will find that many of those buildings are quite dilapidated. Water drips from the roof of the building. Cleanliness is also negligible.
